 Parts Driver/Assistant to Parts Manager

Position Description

The Equipment Group has an opening at the Dracut Garage for an individual to perform various duties including pickup and delivery of heavy equipment parts, as well as shipping, receiving, stocking and daily maintenance of the storeroom. This is an entry-level position with possibilities for future advancement within the construction industry. This position reports to the Parts Manager.

  • Maintain Brox Industries' safety goal of ZERO ACCIDENTS
  • Pick up and deliver needed parts
  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies
  • Collaborate and communicate with technicians when parts arrive, along with others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
  • Track, trace and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sort and stock receivables
  • Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory and counting accuracy
  • Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
  • Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving department
  • Inspect Fuel Island, perform daily and monthly inspections
  • Check parts delivery vehicle daily for proper operation
  • Assist with State Inspection Stickers on company vehicles
  • Clean parts area and keep inventory organized
  • Assist with snow removal
  • Other Duties as assigned


  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Some Computer skills are required
  • Maintain valid drivers’ license



Employees accrue vacation time each month based on their number of years of service. 2 weeks/year up to 5 years; 3 weeks 5-15 years; 4 weeks after 15 years.

401k Retirement Plan

Eligible after 6 months of service prior to January 1st or July 1st. 3% minimum contribution to participate. The company matches 100% of that 3% weekly and may make an annual discretionary match of up to an additional 3%. Plan compensation for the match is based on 40 hours per week straight time pay only.


Salaried employees will receive their regular rate of pay for each holiday. Hourly employees will receive pay only for holidays they would normally be scheduled to work.

Health and Dental Insurance

Employees are eligible after 90 days of service. Health plan is through Cigna and dental plan is through Ameritas. Employees pay approximately 20% of the cost.

Health Savings Account

Employees taking group health insurance are eligible to put pre-tax payroll deductions in a Health Savings Account to help with medical costs and deductibles.

Health Insurance Reimbursement Program

Employees who have other health insurance and do not need group insurance are eligible for reimbursement up to $2500 per year.

Short Term Disability Insurance

Employees are eligible after 90 days of service. Benefit is 66.6% of gross pay for up to 26 weeks. Provided to employees at no cost to them.

Life Insurance

Employees are eligible after 90 days of service. Benefit is 1 times the employee’s annual salary rounded up to the nearest $1,000 (based on 40 hours per week for 52 weeks.) Paid for by Brox Industries.

Dependent Cart Assistance Program (DCAP)

Employees can have the cost of day care deducted from their pay each week before taxes. The company will then issue the participant a check for the deducted amount once a month.

A position is available in our Contracting Division for a field superintendent, with experience in highway construction, to work on our New Hampshire projects.  The ideal candidate will possess five or more years of highway construction experience, a college degree and excellent communication skills. The candidate must be able to read pans, fully understand specifications, track costs and development and maintain a complete project schedule.  This position is full time, with a highly competitive benefits package including health and dental insurances and a 401k plan.  




                We have immediate openings for an experienced Paver Operator, Asphalt Roller Operator, and a Laborer on our New Hampshire crew. Applicants with at least 3 years of experience are preferred for the Asphalt Paver and Roller Operators, however, we are willing to train the right individuals.
