CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE

'ASPHALT CONTRACTING ESTIMATOR'

Responsibilities include performing both plan and physical site take-offs resulting in job cost and material quantity estimates to promote the sale of our products and services. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales representative, or a recent graduate seeking entry into the heavy/highway construction industry.  This a full time salaried position based out of our main office in Dracut, MA. 

The ideal candidate should possess two or more years of work experience in the heavy/highway construction industry and a college degree, as well as excellent communication and computer skills combined with a strong work ethic.  This position will report to the Sales & Marketing Division Manager.  

 

'ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - SALES & MARKETING DIVISION'

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organized individual to work with our Sales & Marketing group.  Responsibilities will include maintaining quotation and bid files, tracking bid results, creating and compiling reports, assisting the sales team with job billing, scheduling meetings and various other duties.  

Applicants must have excellent communication and telephone skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.   This position will report to the Sales & Marketing Division Manager.

 

'ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - CONTRACTING DIVISION'

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organized individual to work with our Contracting division.  Responsibilities will include reviewing and preparing contract packages, procuring bonds, prepping and administering subcontracts, preparing requisites and payments and various other duties. 

Applicants must have an understanding of contracts administration including construction accounting, excellent communication and telephone skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience with Viewpoint and B2W software applications is a plus.   This position will report to the Contracting Division Manager. 

 

'GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT - CONTRACTING DIVISION'

Our Contracting Division has an opening for a General Superintendent who will work with job superintendents to ensure the smooth operation and completion of their projects.  Responsibilities will include overseeing all phases of projects from initial planning to completion, conducting in-house pre-construction meetings, attending progress meetings with project owners (MassDOT, etc.), and allocating and scheduling equipment, labor and material resources as well as other duties.

Qualifications for this position include a minimum of 10 years in a field supervisory role, computer skills, strong communication and conflict resolution skills and the ability to work under pressure.

 

 

'ASPHALT PAVING FOREPERSON' & 'ASPHALT PAVING SCREW PERSON' 

Brox Industries, Inc. is looking for an experienced Paving Foreperson and Screw person familiar with MSDOT and NHDOT projects for the upcoming paving season.

 

'NEW HAMPSHIRE ASPHALT PAVING CREW PERSONNEL'

PAVER OPERATOR  -  ROLLER OPERATOR  -  LABORER 

                We have immediate openings for an experienced Paver Operator, Asphalt Roller Operator, and a Laborer on our New Hampshire crew. Applicants with at least 3 years of experience are preferred for the Asphalt Paver and Roller Operators, however, we are willing to train the right individuals.  

 

'AREA MANAGER - NEW HAMPSHIRE'

     Our Contracting Division has an opening for an Area Manager to be the company’s key representative in NH and be responsible for maximizing the efficiency of our NH operations.  Responsibilities include involvement with industry organizations and committees, managing the NH paving crew and scheduling of their work, increase the visibility of BROX paving capabilities and activities in NH, work with the sales team and chief estimator on all town, commercial and NHDOT bids as well as promoting external material sales while working to improve relations with major NH paving and heavy and highway contractors.

Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years in the paving industry, proven skills for prioritizing, delegating and follow up, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with others.
